Tylan 50 (tylosin) antibiotic injection for cattle and swine. Each mL contains 50mg of tylosin activity (as tylosin base) in 50 percent propylene glycol with 4 percent benzyl alcohol and water for injection.
Cattle treatment for pneumonia, shipping fever, metritis, diptheria and foot rot. Beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cattle - inject intramuscularity 8mg/lb of body weight one time daily (1mL per 6.25lb). Treatment should be continued 24hrs following remission of disease signs, not to exceed 55 days. Do not inject more than 10mL per site.
Swine treatment for pneumonia, mycoplasmal arthritis, dysentery and erysipelas. Inject intramuscularly 4mg/lb of body weight (1mL per 12.5lbs) twice daily. Treatment should be continued 24hrs following remission of disease signs, not to exceed 3 days. Do not inject more than 5mL per site.
