All Mighty Mule gate openers are battery operated, low voltage systems. The battery can be charged and maintained by the transformer included with each system
OR by the Mighty Mule solar panel chargers FM121 or FM123 to maintain the battery charge.
The
Mighty Mule FM121 solar panel is a 5 Watt. The
Mighty Mule FM123 is a 10 Watt. Solar power will have some limits as to the maximum number of gate cycles to expect per day given the zone in which you live.
