Other food items, such as greens and vegetables, may be included in the daily food offering, but should account for less than half of the daily intake, It may be necessary to mix Mazuri Iguana Diet with water or fresh vegetables that are low in oxalate like kale, turnip greens, and squash until the animals become acclimated to diet. If moistened, the diet should be replaced at least twice daily. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times.
