The Gripple Torq Tensioning Tool is a lightweight tool that is ideal for applying regulated tension to vertical or horizontal installations. 

TORQ TENSIONING TOOL FEATURES:
  • Easy to use - just set the tension you want and go to work
  • Ideal for use with Gripple number 4 and 5 hangers and lockable range
  • The internal gear drive delivers 6:1 mechanical advantage
  • Measure from 220lbs to 660lbs with minimal effort and with more pressure apply the maximum load of 880lbs.
  • This compact tensioner weighs only 2.2lbs, is easy to handle, operate and carry
  • A longer sweep pulls even more wire through and increases speed of installation
  • Can be used on barbed, barbless wire

Tensioning Tool Clicks When Done

1. Rotate dial on tensioning tool handle to desired tension. Open the tool handles full. A sharp pull opens the cam to grip the wire. 2. Position the tool mouthpiece against the Gripple and grip the tail wire with the cam. 3. Squeeze the handles together to tension and repeat until the handles click. 4. When the handle clicks, the desired tension has been reached and the handle on the tensioning tool will displace.

To over-ride the tension indicated on the handle, you can initially set the dial to maximum. If the tensioning tool is in-use you can continue to squeeze the handles.
