It is an extremely versatile dog bone bit that can be used for training drills, pleasure riding or competition
The cheek on this dog bone bit has a 2-1/2" purchase with 5" shank
The shank is swept back to a lesser degree than the 6" dog bone bit of this style and therefore offers more leverage and control
When properly adjusted, this 7-1/2" dog bone bit is still considered a mild cheek, but one with plenty of leverage for control at increased speeds
