CORRECTION BIT 8" CAVALRY CHEEK

This Classic Equine 8" cavalry correction bit has the following features:

For finished, well broke performance horse or tough-mouthed older horses where more control is needed.
Applies increased pressure to all parts of the mouth and sides of the tongue.
Can be used as a schooling bit to get the horse to collect and break at the poll that is not responding to milder bits.
Often used in competition, but should not be used in daily training.
The purchase on this correction bit is 2-1/2" and the shank is 5-1/2".
The cavalry designed shank is angled back to the horse, but a straighter angle than the 7-1/2" model, causing a quicker, more immediate response.
The purchase/shank alignment ratio increases leverage, creating greater realized pressure to all points of contact.
