Absorbine Ultra Shield EX kills and repels for up to 17 days. Ultra Shield EX has the following features:
  • Kills and repels horse flies, stable flies, face flies, horn flies, deer flies, house flies, black flies, cluster flies, sclarid flies, gnats, midges, punkies, no-see-ums, deer ticks, lone star ticks, chiggers, American dog ticks, brown dog ticks, gulf coast ticks, fleas and lice.
  • Weatherproof formula.
  • Pesticide and repellent.
  • Contains multiple sunscreens.

  • Scented with Citronella.

DIRECTIONS FOR USING ULTRA SHIELD EX:
  • Use only on horses, foals and dogs.
  • Do not use on foals or puppies under 12 weeks old.
  • Not for use on horses intended for human consumption.
  • Shake well before using.
  • May be applied as a spray or wipe.

Horses and Ponies:
  • When applying as a wipe or on the horse's face, always use a soft cloth.
  • First, brush the animal to remove excess dirt and dust.
  • Spray or wife horse's entire body while brushing against the lay of the coat to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Avoid getting spray into horse's eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Do not wet skin, or apply to the point of dripping or exceed two ounces per application.
  • Re-apply every 7-10 days under normal conditions for initial applications.
  • As protection builds, reapply every 12 to 17 days as needed.
  • Also reapply after washing your horse or if the horse is exposed to heavy rain.
  • After each application, brush thoroughly to bring out sheen on the coat.

Dogs:
  • Kills and repels fleas, ticks (that may also carry lyme disease), mosquitoes and ticks on dogs.
  • Ultra Shield EX also kills and repels fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and lice around dog's premises.
  • Cover your dogs eyes with your hands.
  • With a firm stroke to get proper spray mist, spray head, ears and chest until damp.
  • With a soft cloth, rub into face around mouth, nose and eyes.
  • Then spray neck, middle and hing quarters, finishing legs last.
  • For best penetration of Ultra Shield EX to the skin, direct spray against the natural lay of the hair.
  • On long haired dogs, rub agains the lay of the hair spraying the ruffled hair directly behind the hand.
  • Make sure the spray thoroughly wets existing ticks.
  • During the flea season, retreat every 3-4 weeks if necessary.
  • Kills fleas, ticks and lice on dogs and provides up to 28 days or protection from reinfestation.

Dog's Sleeping Quarters:
  • Spray Ultra Shield EX around baseboards, windows, door frames, wall cracks and local area of floors.
  • The pet's bedding areas should be sprayed.
  • Spray old bedding or replace with fresh bedding.

Use As A Premise Spray:
  • Kills insects on contact.
  • Before using, cover all food handling surfaces and remove all food and cooking utensils. Wash thoroughly if contaminated with spray.
  • Cover or remove exposed food.
  • Spray in areas where insects congregate.
  • Direct spray to contact insects for rapid knockdown and kill.
  • Spray around outside of door facings and screens to render area unattractive to insects.
