SPADE BIT 7-1/2" CHEEK

The Classic Equine 7-1/2" floating spade bit has the following features:

Mouthpiece of this spade bit is broken in three places to contact different areas of the mouth much like the dog bone bit
The spade bit wraps over the tongue with applied pressure
The spade is rounded and smooth for soft pressure to the top of the mouth
Its a great bit for introduction of palate pressure in the transition to ported bits
It is an extremely versatile spade bit that can be used for training drills, pleasure riding or competition
The cheek on this spade bit has a 2-1/2" purchase with 5" shank
The shank is swept back to a lesser degree than the 6" spade bit of this style and therefore offers more leverage and control
When properly adjusted, this 7-1/2" spade bit is still considered a mild cheek, but one with plenty of leverage for control at increased speeds
