7-1/2" CORRECTION BIT

The Classic Equine 7-1/2" correction bit has the following features:
  • Extremely popular with performance riders and trainers.
  • The taller port (1" x 1-3/4") creates more palate pressure.
  • The mouthpiece wraps the horse's mouth, applying increased pressure to the sides of the tongue.
  • This is a bit designed for finished, well broke horses of all disciplines.
  • The cheek on this correction bit has a 2-1/2" purchase with 5" shank.
  • The shank is swept back to a lesser degree than the 6" bit of this style and therefore offers more leverage and control.
  • When properly adjusted, it is still considered a mild cheek, but one with plenty of leverage for control at increased speeds.
