• This correction bit is a slight step up from the snaffle
• The port on this correction bit is 1" wide by 1" tall
• Pressure is applied to the chin, bars and corners of the mouth
• This 6" correction bit gives added pressure to the tongue for more feel
• Has a 2-1/2" purchase and 3-1/2" shank
• The mouthpiece is 5-1/8" wide, 3/8" diameter and curved to shape to shape to the corner of the mouth for soft, evenly distributed pressure to the bars, tongue and corners of the mouth
• The purchase to shank ratio and the swept back design of this 6" correction bit make it a mild cheek
• Contact with the horse's mouth comes slowly in the form of soft pressure to all points of contact
• The main point of contact for this 6" correction bit is the corners of the mouth, which is a familiar spot from the O ring
• This correction bit may also be used with a training fork or martingale to encourage collection and poll control
• The mouthpiece on this 6" smooth snaffle bit is inlaid with copper to stimulate salivation
